How SquareGlow Works
What exactly do SquareGlow products do?
SquareGlow products notify you of triggered SquareGlow accessories using wireless flashing lights, vibrations, and customizable colors.
How do SquareGlow Flashers work without the internet or WiFi?
SquareGlow Flashers communicate via 433 MHz radio frequency. This standalone wireless signal ensures a secure connection between your SquareGlow Flashers and all SquareGlow accessories.
What is the range of SquareGlow devices?
SquareGlow has a range of up to 200 meters (600 feet) in open spaces. However, in homes or offices, the range may be reduced depending on walls, construction materials, and furniture placement. We designed it with extra range to ensure reliable wireless access.
Power & Battery Questions
How long does the battery last, and how do I replace it?
The battery typically lasts 3-6 months, depending on usage.
- When the battery is low, the Flasher emits a dim light, or the accessory’s indicator will notify you.
- Replacement batteries are available at most pharmacies or online.
Can I power my SquareGlow devices without batteries?
Yes! You can use a micro USB cable instead of batteries. Micro USB cables are widely available, or you can buy one here.
